From the 15th to the 19th of April the LNF organized a training school, “Life Science IR Micro-Spectroscopy”, at SESAME Synchrotron Light Source in Jordan

The 2018 edition of the Visit & Career Day was held on the 16th of April. Once again the Frascati National Laboratories opened their doors to welcome students in their last year of high school, for a whole day dedicated to orientation – in terms of both university and job – with regard to STEM careers – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

It started yesterday, on the 5th of April, the “Global Physics Photowalk“, an international competition in which the main laboratories around the world open to both amateur and professional photographers.

On the 30th of March, on the occasion of the KLOE-2 experiment data-taking at DAΦNE, the Φ-factory collider, a ceremony was held in the Bruno Touschek Auditorium at LNF to commemorate the almost twenty years of operation of the KLOE detector.

With the following appointment, scheduled on the 10th of April at National Laboratory of Frascati (LNF), the cycle of five seminars will continue, aiming at the illustration of the main innovations in the field of Technology Transfer and designed as valuable opportunities for dialogue and exchange among the world of research, companies and society.

The XIX LNF Spring School “Bruno Touschek” in Nuclear, Subnuclear and Astroparticle Physics will take place at LNF on May 7th-11th, 2018.

On next 30th of March the KLOE-2 experiment will conclude its data-taking at DAΦNE, the Φ-factory collider, after almost twenty years of operation.

The Frascati National Laboratories offer to 5 undergraduate or graduate students the opportunity to carry out research in an experimental group during the summer. From the 12th to the 16th of March 2018, the LNF will host the 14th edition of IPPOG – International Particle Physics Masterclass, addressed to students in their last year of high school.

INFN Frascati National Laboratories (LNF), in collaboration with the National Academy of Science of Kiev and the Lviv Polytechnic in Ukraine and with the Fraunhofer Institute of Potsdam-Golm in Germany, proposed developing effective photonic crystal (PC) structures, made by a distribution of nanoparticles (NP) in polymer matrix for PC powered sensor applications and fluorescent and Raman spectroscopy.
