INFN-LNF Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati
As part of his tour around Italian universities and research institutes, on the 9th of May the Director-General of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency, William D. Magwood IV, visited Frascati National Laboratories.
The meeting was an opportunity to get to know some of the LNF activities, in particular the Experimental Hall of DAFNE accelerator, its Control Room, SPARC_LAB and the Visitor Centre.
The Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) is an intergovernmental agency aiming at promoting international collaboration among countries with advanced technology infrastructures.
Headquartered in Paris, the NEA operates under the framework of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development to contribute to the achievement of excellence in safety, technology, science, environment and law fields.
