INFN-LNF Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati
The 2019 edition of the Giro d’Italia brings with it a plenty of initiatives in the spirit of Science and Technology. Frascati National Laboratories participates with a special open-day and a rich program of guided tours. Appointment on Friday 12th of April 2019 from 2.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the framework of the event “Scienza In Giro”.
The tour will start from the brand-new Visitor Centre where we will retrace the history of INFN Frascati National Laboratories. Then, we will move into the beautiful dome hosting Dafne collider, the Italian particle accelerator for the study of Universe’s fundamental laws. Finally, you will have the chance to closely admire the Kloe detector, which has been for twenty years one the world leader experiment in the field of particle physics.
Each tour lasts about 90 minutes.
