OpenLabs 2017 – Playing with Science

On Saturday 27th of May 2017

INFN – National Laboratory of Frascati

Free entry from 10,00 am to 9,00 pm to every scheduled event.

A whole day to show the ongoing experiments and the equipment used in the world of research.

You’ll have the chance to visit DAFNE, the Italian accelerator for Particle Physics, and the other test apparatus, where LNF researchers, technologists and technicians will explain how it all works.

A series of conferences will take place at Bruno Touschek Auditorium, and so the Makerlabs – with its demonstrative stands – and the OpenDetectors Exhibition about particles detectors.

During the Speed-date participants will have the opportunity to satisfy their curiosities about science, talking directly to INFN researchers.

For kids: show-lessons, tales about science and educational labs.

Special guest Federico Benuzzi, physicist and juggler, with his show “La Fisica Sognante”.

Playing with science is possible!

It’s been arranged a non-stop tasting area with local products: “Discovering flavours”.

Visitors are allowed to use the free parking next to Tor Vergata train station, about 50 mt from LNF entrance.
