On November 15th, members of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences of the Physics Class visited the Frascati National Laboratory, where they were welcomed by the Director, Paola Gianotti, and the President, Antonio Zoccoli.
During this prestigious meeting, the Academy members had the opportunity to explore the research facilities at LNF, including the Dafne collider and the SPARC_lab facility. The event provided an opportunity to discuss the key research themes conducted at the Laboratory and their contribution into the European landscape of experimental physics.
The Director of LNF, following the meeting, commented: “It was a great pleasure and source of pride to receive appreciation from these distinguished guests for the activities we carry out in our laboratories. Ours is a nationally significant laboratory committed to maintaining high standards of scientific excellence, despite difficulties and sometimes inadequate resources. I wish to convey to all my colleagues at LNF this token of esteem as evidence of the value of our commitment.”
