Bruno Touschek Memorial Symposium 1921-2021

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Bruno Touschek, INFN National Laboratory in Frascati, Sapienza University of Rome and Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei celebrate his extraordinary scientific career, organizing a special Symposium that will take place on 2-3-4- December 2021.
Bruno Touschek was a world-renowned scientist, who worked in the period between the Second World War and the Seventies of the past century. His outstanding contribution is recognized in accelerator physics for the construction of the first matter-antimatter collider AdA (Anello di Accumulazione or Accumulation Ring) which gave an impetus in the scientific developments of particle colliders all over the world. The program of the event will also highlight his important contribution in theoretical particle physics and his inspirational role in university teaching and science outreach.
