The call for the 9th edition of the International School of Science Journalism of Erice (Eissj) opens today: 35 scholarships will be awarded to future journalists and science communicators, 30 for candidates from the European Union, 5 for applicants from the rest of the world.This initiative, developed by Ettore Majorana Foundation and Centre for Scientific Culture, is realized with the support of Communications Office of both INFN and INFN National Laboratory of Frascati, Enrico Fermi Research and Studies Centre and with the collaboration of Le Scienze magazine.
The aim of the course – that will be conducted entirely in English – is to provide useful scientific communication tools, through a series of frontal classes, discussions and interactive laboratories given by international experts in science, journalism and scientific dissemination.
The School will be held from the 24th to the 29th of June, in the beautiful background of the city of Erice, Sicily, suggesting the following theme: “What’s Next: Challenges and Opportunities for Tomorrow’s Fundamental Physics”.
Applications will have to be submitted nor later than the 25th of March 2018.
