April 24, 2018: an event to remember Giorgio Salvini

Giorgio Salvini would have been 98 this year. The Frascati National Laboratories are going to pay a tribute to him with a special event.

On Tuesday 24^th of April 2018, on the occasion of the opening of a Hall named after him, from 10 am talks by Giovanni Battimelli, Pietro Salvini and Lia Pancheri will remember his life and the key role played in the birth of the LNF as well as in the development of Particle Physics in Italy.

A photo exhibition and the screening of some videos will accompany the narration of his extraordinary experience.

The LNF Director, Frascati Major Roberto Mastrosanti and Fernando Ferroni, President of INFN will attend the event giving a welcome speech.
