INFN-LNF Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati
With the following appointment, scheduled on the 10th of April at National Laboratory of Frascati (LNF), the cycle of five seminars will continue, aiming at the illustration of the main innovations in the field of Technology Transfer and designed as valuable opportunities for dialogue and exchange among the world of research, companies and society.
It’s a series of meetings addressed to other Bodies, Universities, Institutions, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, intended to present the research activities of the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN), as well as the technologies and services provided by our facilities which are of interest for a wide range of sectors.
This seminar, coordinated by Augusto Marcelli, will be devoted to THz technology, which has recently experienced a meaningful expansion, particularly in response to an increasing demand of scientific applications. The talk will focus on the role of INFN in this research area, but also on the main applications in security, food and pharmaceuticals controls, and, above all, innovation in the sectors of space and imaging technologies.
