LNF congratulates our researcher, Catalina Curceanu, who, together with Stephen L. Adler of the Institute for Advanced Study di Princeton (USA), won the Fundamental Physics Innovation Award of the American Physics Society, Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, for an innovative research project in the field of quantum physics.
Thanks to this recognition, Catalina will be able to work with Adler at the prestigious American institute on a project for the experimental verification of collapse models of the wave function, which will be performed in the Gran Sasso underground laboratory. This project is aimed at achieving a better understanding of quantum theory, with important implications for future technologies.
