Overview
The aim of the symposium is to discuss future perspectives in exotic atoms research and related radiation detectors, as tools for fundamental physics studies.
Both, technological new developments and challenges, including SDD, HPGe and Cd(Zn)Te detectors, as well as ultra-high precision spectrometers, and physics cases going from the strong interaction at low energy, the neutron stars equation of state, dark matter issues and quantum mechanics investigations, such as the possible violation of the Pauli Exclusion Principle and dynamical collapse models, will be addressed.
The symposium is supported by the Foundational Questions Institute, FQXi (FQXi-RFP-CPW-2008 and FQXi-MGA-2102).
