The seventh edition of the summer Erice International School of Science Journalism (EISSJC 2016) has now started in Sicily, at the Ettore Majorana Foundation, thanks to the support of the “Enrico Fermi” Centre for Study and Research, the INFN-National Laboratory of Frascati and the professional association Science Writers in Italy. Professor E. Iarocci, the School’s Director, welcomed 35 students from all over the world.

The 2016 edition was dedicated to “Fundamental Science: from cutting-edge technologies to the heart of society”, hosting international experts with both scientific and science communication backgrounds. The course will last a week, with a program of lectures and interactive laboratories, coming to an end on Wednesday, June 29th.
