A greener Lab

The LNF territory includes about 35.000 sq. of green areas (almost one third of the total area) and hosts more than 250 trees and several plant species.

Since 2018 the Laboratories have been taking advantage from the collaboration with an expert agronomist who constantly monitors the trees’ plant health (VTA – Visual Tree Assessment) and supports the General Services in redeveloping the LNF green assets.

The project – currently being implemented – concerns the hedge and bushes clearance, the felling of diseased and unstable trees, dangerous for safety of people and property, as well as the placing of new plants to replace them. A good example is the recent moving and positioning of 30 decades-old olive trees coming from the newly-acquired area intended for the realization of the building that will host the EuPRAXIA Project.
