SUMMARY:Precision LHC phenomenology from Resummation
DESCRIPTION:Precision is the new frontier of LHC phenomenology. Accurate theoretical predictions are essential for exploiting the full potential of the machine. I will discuss the role of all-order resummations in providing high-precision predictions for a number of observables at the LHC. I will cover different resummations in QCD\, such as soft resummation\, collinear resummation and high-energy resummation\, and discuss alternative resummation techniques. I will finally present implications of improved theoretical predictions on New Physics searches.
