SUMMARY:Phase I commissioning of the SuperKEKB rings
DESCRIPTION:The Super-B-Factory SuperKEKB at KEK\, Japan\, aiming at a luminosity of 8×1035 cm-2 s-1\, is a state-of-the-art upgrade of the highly successful KEKB accelerators\, which holds the peak and integrated luminosity records worldwide.\nThe Phase 1 commissioning of the SuperKEKB rings without final focus system and Belle II detector started in February\, and continued for 5 months until the end of June 2016. The main tasks of Phase 1 were to fine-tune the rings to achieve low emittances and to make it ready for future commissioning with detector. The commissioning has been carried out smoothly and according to the planned schedule as a result of effective cooperation in the SuperKEKB team. This talk reports on the experiences of commissioning\, concerning mainly low emittance tuning and observations on collective effects at high beam currents\, and a review of the Phase 2 and 3 status and plans.
